Travis Clark – Baseball Pitching Instructor
A Message from Travis:
Hey Everyone,
My name is Travis Clark. I played baseball for 15 years and have been coaching for 7. In 2013 I won D3 Ohio Pitcher of the Year. My junior year of high school I was scouted by the University of Cincinnati and decided to continue my baseball career there. Senior year of high school I sustained an injury which placed me on a rehab assignment at UC. Due to my injury, I could no longer play and began coaching. Since 2016, I have been a dedicated pitching coach and focus on arm care and velocity gain. I’ve worked with over 150 pitchers in the Cincinnati and Tampa Florida area. I specialize on creating pitcher specific programs/goals for my clients, utilizing modern techniques and technology. While I am a pitching coach, I have a wide array of knowledge about the game and am currently the head coach for the 15U Five Star Midwest. My players attend several college recruiting camps every year and I’m able to assist with any questions/concerns during the recruiting process. Personally, I still train and throw weekly bullpens so I’m able to provide the visual examples that my players need. I’m looking forward to working with everyone at DNA Sports Center!

I would like to thank Mr. Broughton and his staff/trainers at DNA Sports Center for allowing me to participate in their Elite Speed Training Program. As an athlete I’m always tring to push myself to be my best and I like trying things out of my comfort zone. Offensive Lineman are always working on power and I fall into that category with a 405 lbs. bench and close to a 600 lbs. squat. I was looking for something to help me with my agility while workon on speed/quickness. The Elite Speed Program at DNA Sports Center has allowed me to do just that. While in the program I learned some muscle specific stretching from their trainers I will be able to continue these moving forward. I was also taught the importance of keeping a tight core while running and doing drills. After working with DNA trainers and experiencing/seeing the impact a tight core had on my performance, it makes me want to continue improving while working my core more seriously. The trainers are extremely knowledgeable and gear/drills workouts to help you with your sport, by being sport and even position specific. A good example of this would be with upcoming combines and camp approaching, their trainers were able to work on my start/explosion by sharing insight and techniques. The were able to lower my times in my 10yd split, 20 yd split, and 5/10/5. I would highly recommend this program to any athlete looking for an edge or preparing for an upcoming combine. I can’t wait to participate in the next session.
Thanks again,
Zach
